Erdogan is a human afterall, I like AK party because they changed the rotten rules regarding oppression of Muslim women.
And he succesfully made Turkey grow repeadetly for a decade, a remarkable and significant Turkey appears today. Compared to what Turkey was before his reign.

Only Turgu Özal was visionary enough as Erdogan in Turkish history, but sadly he didn't last long. Because he didn't know how the game of thrones had to be playen. But truly Erdogan knows. He knows how to play with "their" rules.

Actually, it was Turgut Ozal's policy of debt founded economy that caused the economical crisis after 80s... You can read about it if you want.

I actually like Erdogan... I don't like his fanclub, I voted for AKP but that doesn't mean that I will support everthing AKP did... AKP is most liberal party in TBMM right now.

Erdogan and AKP never said anything about sharia or caliphate... Erdogan himself adviced secularism to Muslim brotherhood... Only his fanboys on this forum thinks Caliphate and Sharia is a good think.

Ataturk couldn't be liberal... He created a secular republic in a nation that wanted him to become a sultan and appoint a caliph...

AKP is more liberal than any other party on TBMM... I have never seen a minister calling his guards off and talking with a activist university student... (although student was a bit of an arrogant icehole)

No, really. There are supporters on the ground, and there is a party which is loosening the secularism. It will happen. It will just take a bit of time. Rest assured. People always go back to their roots and history repeats itself. Turkey right now is in a transition period if you look around yourself with open eyes.

So, can you tell me, why is Mr. Erdoğan wants to promote secularism in spring countries like Egypt? Even Islamist leaders in Turkey have no problem with secularism.

Is anyone listened Erdoğan's Konya speech today? He was talking about they acknowledged Mustafa Kemal's order.
