Taxes on solar panels: Say bye to cheap electricity

A very questionable decision

In absense of local production line , a very questioable decision

Who was going to set up local production line if they had to compete with already established industry overseas plus tax free imports?

.
Tax would make sense if Pakistani industries were flourishing and were not being moved to other countries due to power shortage. Look at the cost of electricity an average household is paying, it is ridiculous.

Solar is the way to go and we should try to encourage households to switch to solar.

It is clear they want to suck whatever is left in the poor.

I don't like Jamhooriyat, because of the fact of huge cabinet burden, 100s of MNAs & MPAs part of Jamhooriyat which are paid for nothing, and infact helping corruption to grow. In case of dictatorship, may be dictator is not good but most of the corruption is limited to one family, rest try to satisfy Raja, and sometimes things go in a better direction when a competition start. But sorry to disagree on your points, Current Down fall is started by last dictator.

- No Major Power projects, subsidy was started in that time while they could decrease rates after negotiation
- Major Privatization happen in Musharaf's time, and that is also know to be his downfall back then. (Steelmills privatization)
- Loan pe Loan was also his policy, which allowed NRO to happen Zardari make comeback which made worst effect on the industry, stock exchange, foreign investments, and also 2003 going into Waziristan was the worst decision which made security situation too bad.
- Same as above.
- Currency Falling (May 2007 Afterwards) also started when Musharaf try to remain in the power, and made some huge blunders,

Yes all thanks to Jamhooriyat, given by a dictatorship, which keeps whole political environment unstable upto today. If Musharaf really wanted to do good for the country, first he shouldn't milgn the political system. If he did, he should have made some amends, which didn't allow democracy to come back. or Some other better form of democratic system (dissolving all provinces, and making district governments more powerfull or anything).

I am sorry to say, our all leaders be it Jamhooriyat or Dictatorship, all are bad which cause this whole system to collapse each time.
