TATA to build plane

First of all, I am not giving "equal" credit, UPA clearly have done more for inviting the privat industry so they deserve more credit, than NDA taking the benfits of the reform and adding to it.
Secondly, how is it insulting, why I give credit to the work and improvements the NDA brought? I just put it in the right perspective, by seperating who did what and what actually was achieved. And the NDA did good with some improvements, but neither the huge mandate, the strong PM or the Make in India PR campaign helped so far to do more, than the UPA did and that has reasons, which shows that the NDA should had done more.

Yeah they have clearly done more & you can clearly do this by looking at their fantastic implementation record from Infrastructure to Fiance to Policy to Defense there is not 1 sector which they have not destroyed completely by their Corruption,Nepotism & Red-Tape culture
Do tell me what happened to the Famed FICV Project or the hundreds of projects which the UPA Initiated but were close down or stuck for one or another reason. The NDA has managed to do more than UPA it's performance will continue to improve as time passes & more funding becomes available
P.S Check the PM's recent speech in Rajaya Sabha to see how much efficient NDA is when compared to UPA

That's the general perception, which I often try to correct by pointing to the reality. Be it the huge improvements the Indian forces did in the last 10 years, or the fact that the economy did well even in UPA2, when you put the GDP rate in relation to the global economy. The fact that even NDA had to admit to the same global factors and that they had to revise the GDP calcuations, which now shows 6.9% growth for 2013 only proves that! And in the same manner, the last actual defence policy reform came under UPA and from DM Antony, which simply can't be denied, no matter if you are pro or con UPA / Antony.
That doesn't take away the scams in UPA and the indernal problems of Congress of course, which resulted in the current and well deserved situation, but people the overall achievements can't be denied because of these issues.

Agreed, though they really fucked up yes- these guys make it look like the whole country just flew away and landed on another country altogether. Somehow they forgot they were replacing one corrupt government with another one equally corrupt.

Bhakts will attack this blasphemy. Remember NOTHING good was done under UPA.
Well more worse was done by those jokers. Don't how u even forgave congaroo party in just 8 months . But you went ahead to support them .

According to Prasun K. Sengupta, Tata will most probably get down to manufacturing the airframes &
most of the components for the Dornier 328 (both turboprop and turbofan versions) -

AFAIK they are out of production

Which again is one of the prime examples where the new policy of the UPA governement to team up with privat partners was implemented! That didn't happend just last year with the Make in India campaign, but with the move to "Make" or "Buy and Make" and the NDA is taking exactly these policies. So who must get the credit for the policy, the one that brought it or the one that just uses it too?

The NDA has managed to do more than UPA

Not for defence and defence modernisation, since the last year was a major setback in these regards and with the modest budget increase (even less that what UPA proposed last year in their interim budget), most defence experts question if the planned procurements can be done.

P.S Check the PM's recent speech in Rajaya Sabha to see how much efficient NDA is when compared to UPA

Speeches are pointless, you have fact checked them to understand the reality! The FM stated in his speech that they inherited an economy in a mess, which his own government factually disproved. With the new calculation method it is clear that he inherited an economy in a good shape and that's the base for the double digit hopes of the government now.
The insurance bill now, that was passed with the help of Congress, was even brought by the Congress and blocked by the BJP in the past. So deserves the credit for the economy and for this bill?

1st Yes I agree that the UPA managed to bring some good policies but what is the use of good policies if the they are not implemented properly & timely

2nd Defense Modernization has surely taken a hit becuz most of the money is being pored into Infrastructure everything from Roads to Rails to Ports is receiving a massive push & these are the things which are needed urgently

3rd In the PM's Speech he outlines the how much efficiently they have done the work
For eg
UPA Last year roads constructed per year 5.2Km(Approx)
NDA in the 9 months 10.4Km(Approx) double
Watch the full speech for each & every answer of your question
Also it doesn't really matter what those numbers showed the growth was during the UPA regime
What does matters is that there was a massive policy paralysis & the Infra growth came to a grinding halt

The policy change brings you new ways to approach a problems, while the manner to implement them is an unrelated issue. That's why the Make in India agenda benefits from the policy changes, while they are as bad in implementing them, that's why most of the procurements deals that were cleared at the end of 2013 before the elections, still are not finished. All the NDA MoD did for a year now, is clearing the already cleared projects again.

A Long To-Do List for Manohar Parrikar, Defence Minister

And did you saw recent statement of the DM about the procurements of the MoD? Did you noticed that he talked about procurements between 2011 till 2014 only and not the timeframe the NDA was responsible? So the media saw a huge figure for procurements and hyped that, just as they hype the DAC cleareances and the figures they inculde, although DAC clearance doesn't mean actual procurement.

The one has nothing to do with the other, since the government has increased the ammount they borrow, so more money is available anyway, but both would had needed a credible push. Overall the budget is a good one, but for defence it was clearly a poor one.

yeah, excepting that every single year they charted and focused on better economic growth, they didn't do much. They wwere booted out for delivering 6.6% growth when oil was over $100, fenku slurps up 7% when oil is $50 and is 'great'. Don't even get me started on the illiterate HRD minister. It took 8 years for them to become a disaster, fenku has done that in 8 months.

In defense yes i agree they are not much better than the UPA but overall they are better at implementing things than the UPA by far & as time passes by this efficiency will also be seen in MOD

Sorry, said paralysis happened only in the last 2 years so don't besmirch their entire record. Remember that they also delivered three 9% growth years in a row. BJ has failed in 2 coonsequtive budgets and has cruised only on low oil prices and hot air PR campaigns like Make in India. Don't compare your illiterate HRD minister, non performing finance minister to MMS or Chidambaram.

@Echo_419 what implementing things? What have they implemented till date?
