At least there is some improvement in the trade relations. baby steps before you learn to run.
Anyway what has pakistan has to offer to us in return apart from raw materials ?? i'd really like to know

Tsk Tsk, so nothing to gain for India?
First of all even if this is one off thing, it shall be good for India...however i hope that it is not one off but trade really is improved between our nations.

Pakistan has a lot to offer and it is a business not barter trade, once the restrictions are not there...businessmen can venture across the border and do joint ventures etc.

Our sports goods, leather goods, textiles, surgical instruments, cement etc. can be a starting point for import into India.
Shortages to meet demand on one side of the border can be met by supply from the other side of the border in a wide variety of items which both countries share in terms of exports.

Anyways, once there is ease of trade between two countries...both people can be surprised from what the other country has to offer.
Once the volume of market is even larger, business enterprises from both countries shall grow.

TATA is meant for middle class who are seeking an upgrade from the motor cycle.

many people prefer bikes then cars, because of the busy traffic in places like pindi, and for your info, in Pakistan middle class families can easily afford a small car

I know same is there in India too. But the targeted people are not bike loving youth , but the ones who needs to transform from bike , mainly when they start the family or as a cheap alternative as a second or third car of the family...And that has been the emphasis in India too.

You guys are simply hating it cause its from India.Period.

Even some thinktank funny guys are enjoying it. Periods.

I am just saying that its a four seater, and in Pakistan families are not that small, but this car will be very useful for students like me

Good development. My only concern is whether Pakistani populace will buy it knowing that this is made in India?
