Tata Motors enters Bangladesh car market

Indian cars just does not goes with status and taste of the BD consumers. Buying a Indian cars means like buying a bull cart in Bangladesh. Peoople cant think of Indian automobiles other than pulling stuffs here and there.

yeah we look at BD people as stuff that need to be pulled.

. .
The european nano and the junk tata sells to indians are different. The european version costs more.

Ignorance is a bliss. India already has Indian crash test which are very similar to Euro crash test.

"We've conducted these tests in India already, so we knew the car would pass," Dr. Clive Hickman, Tat's head of engineering, told Autocar. "But it's still a great moment."

Tata Nano passes first round of European crash tests

I dojt hate india or indians, its just indian cars are garbage, the shock absorbers and the suspensions will make a car jorney in an Indian car feel like you are riding on a tuktuk. In fact indian cars are glorified tuk tuks with foreign engines.

How many TATA cars have you tried?

If none then you are nothing but a blind India hater which is reflected in your post.

BTW enjoy ur second hand cars ...lol...

.
1.Driving "dubbas" decades after decades Indians aren't supposed to know about cars.

With a vehicle density of just 3 per 1000, BD know much about cars.....lol....

Reconditioned is not second-hand.

Then what it is??

Polishing a second hand car, changing seat covers does not make it a new car. It will remain a second hand car. Reconditioned cars is a term used to save embrassment which will be acused by second hand car.

There is a thriving reconditioned vehicle industry in Japan.

That is because some countries are more interested in second hand cars.

They are required to replace certain parts with new and obtain certification from a designated agency.

They are required to replace only some parts. Major parts remain the same.

Beside BD many nations import these. In our case anything from 1 yr old to 5 is permitted.

BD is not the only country which loves second hand car.

2. In fact we drive Japanese cars for well over 20 years. 1980 models are running fine. Japanese cars, particularly Toyota is like cash. You can stop on the road and sell it. It is so lucrative.

Here nobody buys a Toyota after 3 years.

3. On the other-hand we have mountains of "chhakra" India cars that began breaking down even after a month.

Blind hate

.
I can never understand how bangladeshis can keep a straight face and speak lovingly about "reconditioned" cars. I mean seriously, "reconditioned" ?!

And there are these folks going on about 20 year old cars. Any car over 10 years (5 for a lot of people), belongs in one place--the junkyard !

I can't believe you guys defend reconditioned COROLLA !! Wtf ?!

Its a fcking COROLLA! Not a Vintage BMW !!

.
Apparently only 3 Bangladeshis in thousand can afford a car but a gullible reader would have thought every pole vaulter uses a BMW to cross over.

If Britishers are known for their understatement, bangldeshis surely know how to boost! As we say in Bengali - 'Pode nei cham, Rajeswari naam'!

Lol !! Here comes a Chinese cheerleaders who love anything made in China. First guys able to afford cars and then speak. Tata have 70 pc market share in BD, which simply shows, that every 2 out of 1000 (in BD 3 of 1000 have cars) are buying Tata.
That speak volumes for haves and have nots. Continue to spew ur bias. General BD public wont listen to u. Tata will still increase its market share.

Own? WTF? They have own special reconditioned Junkyards other than newer ones. They have tendency only to complain. Nothing else

TATA is simply wasting its money, time and energy by launching its vehicles in BD. One of the members has mentioned that annual car sales in BD is just 20000. What will TATA earn by selling those 20000 cars? I think TATA should invest money where people hate to buy "SECOND HAND" car.
