Taslima takes dig at Indian politicians amid talks of Bangladeshis' role in Assam clashes
Even as some politicians blamed Bangladeshi migrants for the violent clashes in Assam, celebrated author from the neighbouring country -- Taslima Nasreen -- too stoked the issue.
Taslima, who had sought refuge in India after she was banished from Bangladesh a few years ago, took a dig at India's political class for the Kokrajhar ethnic violence that has spread to other districts of the state.
The Bangladeshi author posted her reaction on micro-blogging site Twitter. "Some politicians accepted B'deshis in India & gave them legal papers, so that they vote 'em. Now Frankenstein is here. Face it," she tweeted.
The Centre, however, ruled out the possibility of any Bangladeshi group's involvement in the violence.
