Jamnagar, Essar, Gujarat, Panipat, Guru Gobind Singh Refineries account for about 50% of India's refining capacity and are close to Pakistan. What would be best ways to strike these facilities? Jamnagar and Essar are the closest and represent about 30% of India's oil refining capacity and are less then 130 mi from the Pakistani border. Cruise missiles? Drone Swarm? Stand off munitions? Rockets?

Wars are fought economically in this era.
Not with weapons.

Best way is to fantasize how to strike them. What is the problem? Do we not have better things to spent time on then have discussions on such topics?:undecided:

Pakistanis are forgetting about the Indian Coast Guard. The ICG has been developed so that the entire Navy can be deployed against either Pakistan or China and Indians coasts would still be secure. The Indian Air force would also be enough to confront any PAF vessel that attempts to target the Jamnagar refinery.

.
Do you know who is the owner of those Refineries ?

Whos cares...just a thought experiment, they are defiantly can be hit..it not a fantasy. We must accept the fact war is strong possibility in the near future. Before going nuclear, all other options are on table. We will be on the defensive. But at the same time must strike back at economic targets in India. India must give a pound of flesh should any mis-adventure take place.

neither the iaf could handle the PAF and nor can the indian navy handle the Pakistani Navy...we saw this in action many times over now. So to the OP's point, if we can come within arm's length of the indian army chief, we can take out your oil refineries if we want to.

rok sako to rok lo! ;)

Also We Should Build A Naval Base At Jiwani To Block Oil Tankers Heading For India In Case Of War

No you can't. our navy routinely operates within 100 km of your coastline and there is nothing you are able to do about it. if you are barely able to defend your own coast, what makes you think you can hit Indian oil refineries? the best you can do is drop bombs on empty ground right next to the border.

Although we did blow up Karachi's oil refineries in 71. That is called reality.:-) in the meantime, I hope your navy catches up to our coast guard

You indians seem to suffer from selective amnesia, seem to remember a lot about 71 but barely anything bout 1 month ago. Those bombs could've easily been dropped on your military top brass but out of kindness PAF gave you a second chance.

After losing Mig-21 and SU-30 maybe your chairforce can catch up to Pakistani domestic pilots.

we just need missiles man...you ain't got nothin' that can stop those. 71 does not count cuz you need to have the majority of the country to rebel against the center AND you need mujib and bhutto like leaders. yeah, without them handing you a so called 'victory" on a silver platter, your military is as inept as it could possibly get. ;)

If that is the case, why were you unable to take Kashmir in 47, 65, or 99, when we successfully defended our territory against Pakistani aggression? and you are aware we have missiles tw0? And there is nothing you can do to protect Karachi from an assault by the IN. think about that before you entertain such fantasies.

Oh, and let's say you have the capability to hit Gujarati oil refineries and you actually have the balls to do that(which is unlikely given how many of you surrendered in 71). in that case, we will simply move our strategic oil reserves to refineries in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesn, Odisha, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Then what will you do?

These one two liner wishfull threads have to stop man:hitwall:
This is PDF not Twitter FGS.
If anyone wants to put forward anything regarding military strategy. Put in a well researched article. Not vague two lines and start a troll war on every thread.

we took almost half of it away from you. the REAL question is that how come india being supposedly 6 times bigger in military power hasn't been able to take back what it claims to be hers from a country that is 1/6th its size...incompetant indian military.
