Tank Ex is a hybrid of T72 and Arjun. The low chasis is based on T72.

Army was interested because it is lighter than Arjun and Army is quite comfortable on T72 platform. It is looking for an upgrade of the T72 .

But I don't think IA will go for it as it dreams and deserves next generation tanks for future specially when it has options to acquire better platforms .

Is it Ar JUNK tank?

No it is much smaller than arjun.
This means one deficiency of arjun can be seen clearly corrected and this also was the last nail in the coffin of arjunk.

resembles the leopard tank series. is there any cooperation from other countries on this new tank or is it purely home grown.
