Just because they share a so called common religion doesn't mean Tamils must be under Hindutva/Indian occupation. Both Malaysia and Indonesia are Sunni Muslim majority and speak a common language yet they are 2 different countries.

The difference between Cow belt Hindus and Tamils is not how religion is treated.

Hinduism is not a homogeneous or standardized religion with centralized authority, It varies and differs from region/state to region/state. Except for the 3 % smarthas (TamBrahmins) who are vedic base, majority Tamils are either atheists, followers of folk religions or Tamil siddha tradition under which saivism and Murugan cults come under.

Can or will northie Tarun Vijays or Mallu Hindus recite Tevaram or 4000 Divya Prabandhams e.g Andal's Tirupavai etc ? Or does it have any compulsion to be included in their temple worship as in Tamil temples ?
