Tamilisai took to Twitter to respond to Vaiko's charge and said, Modi was daring enough to have an unscheduled landing "even in Pakistan."

Only serious effort at independence was made by the DMK government (under CM Karunanidhi) in 1975. A DMK Minister Rajaram approached America for help. Unfortunatetly time was wrong. America just got out of Vietnam and did not want to entangle in Asia.
