There is no crime in explaining something simple to the layman who don't understand how the world of geopolitics and military warfare functions. This is like ABC or 123 of national security matters whatever I said touched upon the truth.

It is a simple fact that we have a ruthless enemy who seeks our violent end at any cost if we handicap ourselves for it because there will be no olive branch here but it is about outmanuvering it and out-thinking it and out-tactical them. You gotta get the momentum with you but don't provide a situation where momentum is against us this is simple reasoning nor any rooms of damaging yourself unnecessarily where you don't have to. Example if war was to ignite on LOC or the Pakistani border it will automatically trigger Kabul's redlines because they are so close to the Indian borders themselves and the water will reach them by default since they will react before it reaches them on our side you see there we have already tactical advantage and you can expand the horizon by including other allies behind your territories like central asia etc etc making sure that the tactical advantage is always on your side but never provide an olive branch to them where you give momentum against yourself unnecessarily. This is what it is all about out-manuvering your opponent in the stragetic and tactical facet.

Based on what I've seen of your mountainous border, how do you even fence such an inhospitable area and ensure that it remains that way? The wear and tear of the wiring and fencing would be immense and would cost a bomb to just maintain the damn structures. Both. I think the country especially the Western border was deliberately and systematically weaponised from February 2002 so NATO in Afghanistan does not get the wrong idea of invading Pakistan.
