What's new

Taliban take control of Ghazni and US Air force twitter handle lied lol

But the major question which is confusing me is how in the world are Taliban are launching major offensives after every few months. First Kunduz then Farah and now ghazni only 160 km away from Kabul
Yes there are reports of MI17 being shot down not one but 2 on Twitter the first shot down was carrying commandos and second shot down was going in for extraction of intelligence staff. These are reports from media or journalist which are pro to Taliban. Taliban have the capability to shot down such helicopters as they have stringers and RPG plus the have AA guns.

The situation is being exaggerated by both sides but to conclude it Taliban have control of the city and this can be determined by the official Afghan news media. Lol

Now read this official tweet
No govt facilities fallen but they admit that Taliban have control of the city lol.

It is not just taliban they have shia militias along them. Ghazni is shia dominant city and the shia militias are more trained in urban war as they fought along Taliban while they both attacked Mosul Iraq :)

Here is a selfi from Ghazni govt building

Taliban are no more salafi they are now shia Sunni and salafi. They are pashtuns hazarans tajiks Uzbeks. In jowzjan imam bhukari joined Taliban with his forces so this tells a lot about situation in Afghanistan. Iran is full time backing them. The so called shia militias in Iraq were who?

one thing is for sure, even if they take back the city from the taliban the damage done is irreversible.
They cannot take any thing back. They cannot bomb Ghazni it is a shia city and if ghazni is bombed mizar will go down in sec and Iran will move in to protect ghazni. Only way is going in via ground and who will do that when Taliban are in positions. This is a city lost. They are only trying to cut route between ghazni and other cities

.

Now, USA guys will reach Afghan officials and will say: Here are some of our demands. If you agree, then we can handle these Talibs. Otherwise, its your fight.
With this Taliban factor, USA is controlling everybody in the region. Iran, Pakistan and Afghan govts are compelled to obey, otherwise they are Taliban supporters.
No matter how much bombing and operations USA does, Taliban are always there.
Even Pak army, with clear intent to clear the region, even with out having that sophisticated technology as USA has, defeated these insurgents. But but why on face of earth, Talibans are going no where in Afghanistan?

Ghazni is surrounded. lets see how it plays out.

@Path-Finder now the old city of Ghazni is where hazarans are located and see that is the same part that Taliban control so this explains the actual ground reality Taliban and hazara tribe are together.

USA pissed every one and now they are out if allies in Afghanistan.
yep the plausibility is very strong for shia/sunni alliance in afghanistan.

Afghan govt is doing every thing USA is telling it. Bombing ghazni means shia will die and that will start civil war in Mizar-e-Sharif. Regarding USA going in lol USA is not going to step into Ghazni the want to live not die. It will only be Afghan troops going in to die no US soldiers.
