Article is basing a report which is not told yet and the source is not that big or leading media house hence, doesn't carry any weight until & unless credible sources quote the same. Indeed, relations represents our contacts as well as reflected through statements and understanding which is not seen in this supposed article, therefore, cannot be trusted yet. We are affected with terrorism and TTP born in Pakistan that hurt us a lot. Let's wait for the details and confirmation of such official's statement which is not verified directly but quoted through a so-called report. the saudis are just nervous for the following reasons and are therefore sending negative but useless signals to Pakistan (I say useless because Pakistan is no longer that poor country anymore and is poised to call its own shots as it deems fit) :
1. Pakistan no longer depends soully on the saudis for oil and has started importing oil from central asia (basically Russia) along with oil from the saudis.
2. Pakistan has increased its own domestic oil production (thank you China) which raises fears in the saudi minds that competition for their oil may potentially double if Pakistan starts exporting its own oil along with providing a venue for Russia to export its oil thru gwadar (iran ain't too happy about that either but since Russia is involved, they're keeping quiet).
3. Pakistan refused to get involved in the Yemeni quagmire.
4. saudis don't like our close relations with turkey.
5. Pakistan turned down any effective role in the so called Islamic military alliance unless iran was also included (this one really lit the saudis on fire).

the saudis need to come to grips with the fact the world has permanently changed and his royal highness ain't all that royal to Pakistan anymore.

Mr. "Stephen Cohen" is an Indian on our message boards attempting to sow division between our allies (Saudis and Pakistanis, previously their "Chinese" counterpart was trying to sow division between Pakistan and the US) .

This Indian fellow is using the name of one of our allies (our relatives through our Prophet Ibrahim RA the Jewish peoples) to sow division between Pakistanis and Saudis. Is this the sort of divisive propaganda that defense.pk allows on its message boards? by an open Indian and enemy of Pakistanis? The Jews have been historical, religious and ideological allies of the Muslims & this Indian is using a Jewish (Anglo) name to attempt to distance us from the west and our Arab allies. They have their agents in Pakistani media (like Tribune and Dawn) and they are constantly verbally misleading and assaulting us on the message boards and face book (and attempting to seduce /flatter our women) and now they are here using unkind tactics. Alhamdullilah we separated from these polytheistic, may God guide them and may our Muslims in India (and Pakistan & everywhere) and our Ahle-Kitaab be rescued, protected and made triumphant.

All of Pakistan's oil imports are from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait. Russian oil is currently impossible for any south asian country to use because there are no pipelines - and shipping would be less competitive than oil from the gulf.

Pakistani domestic oil production is a tiny fraction of domestic consumption and will remain so in the near future. Dom. production is 80 barrels a day, even Italy produces more.

The Saudis continue to provide money to Pakistan. Unlike the US the stings attached to their aid are never made public - and it is a simple fact of life that donors always have the upper hand - and will say whatever they feel like.

The kingdom deported 39,000 Pakistanis, accuses national of several criminal activates

RIYADH: In the past four months, Saudi Arabia deported about 39,000 Pakistanis from the Kingdom for violating the rules of residence and work, Saudi Gazette reported on Tuesday, quoting informed security sources as saying.

They said that multiple Pakistanis were jailed for a number of crimes, like drug trafficking, thefts, forgery and physical assault.

Against this backdrop, Abdullah Al-Sadoun, chairman of the security committee of the Shoura Council, called for ‘thoroughly scrutinising’ the Pakistanis before they are recruited for work in the Kingdom.

“Pakistan itself is plagued with ‘terrorism’ due to its close proximity with Afghanistan. The Taliban movement was itself born in Pakistan,” he said.

The sources also stated that a number of Pakistani nationals were allegedly involved in some ‘terrorist’ actions - orchestrated by Daesh - is a cause of public and societal worry.

He asked for closer coordination with the concerned authorities in Pakistan to thoroughly check those coming to work in the Kingdom due to the involvement of a number of Pakistanis in security issues, the report said.

Sadoun said the political and religious inclinations of the Pakistanis coming to work in the Kingdom should be known to both sides before they are recruited for work.

But the editor just distorted it enough to give an altogether a different meaning...KSA has not only deported Pakistanis, it has deported Indians and Bangladeshis too and the reason is that their economy is not doing good. I have been critical of the kingdom at multiple of times but let's not buy the lies and the false propaganda by certain lobbies. KSA is not good nor bad for Pakistan... actually it is pretty ignorable country if we get our house in order. If Pakistan plays its cards right, the people getting deported from GCC can easily be absorbed in CPEC and rather we will need a lot of skilled and semi skilled workers in different trades so govt can make it a binding for the companies working on CPEC to hire Pakistanis first, if not available, then look elsewhere.

Citing the statistics provided by Saudi interior ministry, the report went on to say that 82 Pakistani suspects are currently held in intelligence prisons over charges of terror and other security related issues.
