Recently many videos and Images appeared on the net with Taliban horsemen, infantrymen and Bikeman entering victoriously with awaam greeting them with garlands and Takbeers. Some of the images are reminiscent of the world-famous Dirillis Ertugrul series.

Dont Insult a historic figure by comparing them to nanthradrals and barbaric people. had ertugrul followed taliban brand of islam no one in that region would have become muslims.
Muslims Used To be kind, respecting, educated, just and peaceful and People often seeing their way of life adopts islam. while taliban is the reason terrorism is the word taken with Islam.. sadly

Dude some sissies in this thread can laugh at those horses,bikes or the flip flops they are wearing. But the reality is using those flipflops ,horses and bikes they captured and defeated those armoured personal carriers ,tanks ,latest military hardware and far better equipped soldiers. That's what we call a true fighting spirit which cannot be replaced with any amount of money and modern weaponry.

The Americans tried to enforce the NEW WORLD ORDER through their ruthless unlimited power and the taliban are trying to enforce their own version of Islam through their gorilla tactics. At this point of history, the Afghan Taliban are victorious after a 20 years long war so they will try to implement their thoughts.

The fact is, if taliban surrenders to the business plans of West, the same west will accept the taliban version of Islam just they did in the case of Saudi Arabia. Saudis have a manifolds strict version of Islam as compared to the Taliban but still the Americans are their biggest business partners. In the end, it is all about business...

IMHO, if Taliban implements the Islamic system with the advises from main religious scholars of Islamic world, then it is good to serve the Afghan land as a laboratory to implement the Islamic welfare society model. The Western politico economic system has been failed in every domain!

Their beliefs still seem to be the same. From just November last year :

KABUL: The last thing 33-year-old Khatera saw were the three men on a motorcycle who attacked her just after she left her job at a police station in Afghanistan's central Ghazni province, shooting at her and stabbing her with a knife in the eyes.

Waking up in hospital, everything was dark.

"I asked the doctors, why I can't see anything? They told me that my eyes are still bandaged because of the wounds. But at that moment, I knew my eyes had been taken from me," she said.

She and local authorities blame the attack on Taliban militants - who deny involvement – and say the assailants acted on a tip-off from her father who vehemently opposed her working outside the home.

For Khatera, the attack caused not just the loss of her sight but the loss of a dream she had battled to achieve - to have an independent career. She joined the Ghazni police as an officer in its crime branch a few months ago.

"I wish I had served in police at least a year. If this had happened to me after that, it would have been less painful. It happened too soon ... I only got to work and live my dream for three months," she told Reuters.

The attack on Khatera, who only uses one name, is indicative of a growing trend, human rights activists say, of an intense and often violent backlash against women taking jobs, especially in public roles.

Exactly, we can cheer for the Taliban but would we accept them as rulers in our lands? The Taliban need to negotiate with the other tribes except the Afghan government and then form a unity government, give the other Muslims their rights. Historical Muslims were warriors but also had the best character, gave justice to the people.

The Taliban and followers were peaceful hanafi Muslims, people of love but they were indoctrined to be extremist during Afghan jihad against Soviets. New Quranic interpretation was given to them, new ideology was promoted, Hiliary Clinton admitted this, the video is available.
