Taliban denies death of its leader Mansour, releases ‘audio message’
The Afghan Taliban has denied that its leader, Mullah Akhtar Mansour, was injured or killed in Pakistan this week. As proof, on Saturday the Taliban released a 16-minute audio message claimed to be freshly recorded by Mansour.“I am among my people. This incident never happened and it is not true. This is propaganda of the enemy,” the man said in the message. “I have recorded this message to let everyone know that I am alive.” The voice dismissed the information about the militant leader being injured or killed, saying that the meeting of Taliban commanders at which he was presumably shot dead never happened. Earlier reports cited intelligence sources claiming that Mansour had been wounded or killed in Kuchlak, Pakistan

We'll need to check this so called recorded message with his earlier voice samples. If they don't match, it will be proof that he's dead as a dodo!
