I never thought i'd ever see a helicopter get blown up by an IED.

What offensive? they are being killed in droves, so not sure if you call that an offensive, it's basically a target practice for the new Afghan Air Force.

This is a sight you don't often see. An IED blowing up a helicopter. IRS obviously inside job. We have known that there are traitors in ANA and obviously one of them planted it. The question is why wasn't the helipad swept or checked before it was landed unless those sweeping planted it.

The worrisom part is that if they cab reach a helipad then they aren't far from a base where these birds are kept. Of they plant bombs through traitors and destroy the birds then it will be a very heavy loss for ANA not too mention extremely demoralizing...

The months of fighting in Afghanistan have started and the Taliban have started their offensive. Currently ANA have pushed them from kunduz and nearby districts but the worrisome part is not that northern province but helmand and its capital as Taliban are advancing forward and are on the outskirts of the capital. The poppy fields falling to Taliban will be a massive blow to the afghan govt.

Some very tough months ahead for Afghanistan.

The taliban said the copter was landed, they went their planted the bomb, went away and below it with remote control .
