as for USSR and Afghanistan what you forget is that Russia is still there and llok what your nation achieved after it participated in every way possible against USSR for USA

we were talking about why american planes performed better than russian well that was deu to fact the users of russian fighters were not well trained and lacked BVR & AWACS support and had no chance against highly trained USAF with all its might , training

F-15 and F-16 use same air to air armament ; AIM-120, AIM-9 and same gun. Serbian MiG-29s were not without BVR. Pakistani F-16s were without BVR in Kargil yet IAF wouldn't dare to cross into our airspace.

Again, let me elaborate it for your ease. F-16s when armed with its full air to air compliment (AIM-120 and AWACS) will rip MiG-29 and Su-30 like a toilet paper when in the hands of right pilot. There is a reason Russian aircraft fall like flies whenever they meet US air power in every conflict of modern history.

Another point you might want to add in there is the proven performance and 100% success rate of of AIM-120 family whereas none of the Russian BVRs has had any success in actual combat. The missile and its seeker makes a hell of a difference too.

so you Think Indians Dont Have Long Range BVRs and AWACS cover and if russian jets were so bad how come chinese who make more than 6 types of russian flanker clones still buying Su-35 and why just a few weeks back all pakistanies were singing such high praises of Su-35 or is it a case of sour grapes

There is nothing wrong with Russian fighter Jets, perhaps some of them might perform even better then the western fighter jet, given the right conditions. I guess Russian missiles, especially BVR missiles, leave a lot to be desired where as US missiles are usually simply Fire N Forget.....as per combat track record.

Russia is still there,,, USSR broken to pieces,,, we took revenge of Bangladesh,,, we are lot better from where we started in 1947,,, We started with no industrial base,,, our only measure city was Lahore,,, Karachi was not of a huge port,,, In comparison to what we achieved since 1947 is way much more in comparison to what is achieved by Russia or even India,,, India had far much better economy at 1947,,,

So my friend,,, Pakistan despite of having very short history on world map proved to be a high player in world politics on contrary to India which is despite of being world largest democracy only recently appear to be an important country ,,, even that is because of its huge population ....

And where were we when we got independence and where are we know ? no sir we are not important to west or russia or for that matter even to israel , japan , china UK or euorope just because of owr population but deu to owr educated and well trained population which is generating huge amounts of money and a huge pool of skilled , semi skilled hardworking labour force + owr economy & democracy and ease to do buisness but leave it mate you wont understand it .... any way is the thread about india and pakistan or russia and turkey ?

One has got to love the sense of victory by just flying inside their own airspace. Mighty IAF is always victorious in exercises only. When it comes to real wars, they wouldn't dare challenging PAF which is one third of its size. Beat it boys. Come back when you have really done something.
