As in a collective leadership based on power sharing principles, I doubt there is much Xi can do about this team. He can try though

Indeed BeiJing is a collective leadership, with elders behind the scenes running the show. The era of one strong leader went with Deng Xiaoping.

President Xi is but one man... the consensus governing model has its advantages and drawbacks. There are so many factions and lobbies.

But the rule of law and Confusian morality is what is needed to create a just and harmonious society.

Young people need to lead by example as well.

But one is hopeful, that Xi will make some impact in a positive sense.

The problems and weakness of China have always been internal. This time it is not different. The elite has wealth outside of the country, so they are open to fear and blackmail.

Getting rich was glorious. But now it is time to getting rich with virtue is glorious.

Virtue is missing in the society of today.

But one should always be optimistic and never loose hope in the youth.
