Yes but that is about the Internet Tax and not the additional tax on prepaid loads, besides being credible it also has to refer to the actual topic at hand.
LPG import for example has been exempted from all sort of taxes. read exemptions for yourself
bulk of the industry is still under alot of heavy taxes....corporate taxes for example are 25% for companies below rs.250m or less annual revenue and 34% for companies with above rs.250m revenue with nothing in between. The industry has been complaining about this for years and years and years and years....And now that we have a "business friendly" gov. , still nothing done to fix this....Plus the rates are already extremely high.
kon dai raha hai income tax yahan? kon profits show kara rahae hae? if you dont get them in tax net, and continue to put taxes on milk and accessories, how good is it going to be for the economy and society's economic balance, which is already in jeopardy.
the tax rates are high.....that's why people evade taxes.....
In my opinion, those are bigger baighairat who are tolerating this injustice. From Asia Pacific to Europe sab say ziada tax on any country cellular service Mubarik hoo begeratoon ka tolaa zindabaddd.
Tolerating? They are many defending it claiming it is "good" for the economy to suck each penny out of the common man!In my opinion, those are bigger baighairat who are tolerating this injustice.
Why blaming all Pakistanis when thives such as Ishaq Dar himself is not paying tax on his seemingly uncountable wealth? Subjects are on the footsteps of their rulers. It is easy to criticize every action that raises Tax. However all would agree that one needs to balance the income & expenditure. No household, business, shop or country can survive if expenses are always more than the income. One would need to either cut expenses or raise the revenue.
Let us face it; Pakistanis don’t like to pay income tax. Agricultural income is still not taxed at all. Only way left for the GOP to increase her revenue is thru indirect taxation. Hence you see exorbitant custom duties and VAT on virtually everything.
While I agree that the tax under discussion is onerous, I would not blame Ishaq Dar as he is only attempting to balance the books in whichever way he can.

Yes, they don't but who is responsible? those who evade tax or whose who let them evade in return of bribe? Niaz saheb, governments are very powerful and they have all means and ways to make things happen provided they are sincere. Today you appoint an honest an independent chairman FBR and allow him to work independently and then see who does not pay tax. In Zia's time, almost 16% were paying tax, today hardly 8%. Why do we see such a drop in tax network? because until 1989, system was functioning somehow and then came thieves in the guise of democracy and here we are. Again, if the PM of the country, his entire cabinets, and 300 or so thieves sitting in the parliament don't pay tax, it would be plain absurd to expect ordinary people to pay tax especially when they get nothing in return of their taxes.Pray tell me honestly, except for the salaried where income tax is deducted at source, how many of our compatriots pay income Tax? Ishaq Dar is a Pakistani as well, thus he cheats on tax.
