I dont think it is TFX engineering building, better to say it as new TAI engineering building. This will be the place for all design activity, testing, marketing and others. The question that I need to ask is whether this engineering building is located in the same area with the new factory ......?

Yeah it is. According to reporters who visited the building, the building is in the form of a campus. It has many different special areas related to development.

How's KFX/IFX going? I remember reading some reports that y'all had complaints concerning the contract rules surrounding technical benefits, work share and export licensing

Also, will the development work be shared similar to F-35 where each partner had a dedicated system to focus on from their home country or will Indonesian engineers have to carry out their work in Korea?

The renegotiation is still happening. We just need to wait for new information, but Jokowi administration has said that they still want to be inside the program with reduced financial participation into 15 %, from previous 20 %. I hope the renegotiation can be concluded with Indonesia is still joining the program.

All of the development and R&D that is started since 2011 is conducted in South Korea with the latest news reveals that around 100 Indonesian engineer participating in South Korea. But I also read the news saying that KFX/IFX shadow program is also conducted in Indonesian Aerospace. This is why there is video suggesting that KFX/IFX model is also tested in Indonesia wind tunnel facility.

The work share in manufacturing is for fuselage production while other component like avionics is not included in the previous work share deal in 2015. The assembling and integration for Indonesian KFX version (IFX) will be done in Indonesia Aerospace facility.

Here is the progress in April 2020

If Indonesia make other component like avionics for KFX/IFX program, it will only mean for Indonesian IFX version. There is Indonesian defense companies like PT Info Global and PT LEN Industry that has plan to supply their products for IFX fighter.
