i have ranted enough in thread on AMRI mishap about the sorry state pf Bengal...
The most important problem here is the complete breakdown of law and order

You remember Bihar..

The most important thing that nitish did was to strenghten the law enforcement agencies..
He made a strong police.. formulated laws for quick justice and was more of a leader than a politician

And look at the improvement there..

Compare this with Mamata..
Her goons does the exact same thing which CPM goons did..
She barges into police station and releases the goons
She accuses the police and interferes in their action..
Infra develoment works are being hampered because crime syndicates are extorting money from construction firms
Look at the state of roads here !!!!

CPM is worse too
For Bengal it is the devil or deep blue sea
For 30 years I have seen Bengal and I have seen india
I have become hopeless here !!!

these illicit liquor shops exist every where in India except Goa, DAMAN and DUE. liquor is so cheap , no need to distill it illicitly . as for the fenny made in Goa , the best stuff comes from local guys not branded bottles.

Please, stop preaching your religion here. No religion says drink and beat your wife, and ppl from all religion drink and beat there wife. So religion has nothing to do with it.

Its all social-economic environment which make us devil or god. Poor education (not confused with literacy) and poor parenting lead to such kind of chaos..

how is that preaching? he simply stated one good reason Islam forbids alcohol.


As for drinking itself, that is the nature of the drink.
It makes you more violent and likely to do things that you would not normally do.
There is a direct correlation with alcohol and wife beating, pretending otherwise is just stupid.
Of course you "enlightened" drinkers don't want to admit this.
If the price of you getting drunk is that some women get beaten or killed, and innocent people die in car accidents then so be it right?
