Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has delivered its last Lockheed Martin F-16s, completing a manufacturing activity that started with Ankara's Peace Onyx 1 programme in 1987.

TAI built a total of 308 F-16s for the Turkish and Egyptian air forces, with the former having received 270 aircraft. The company's final deliveries were from a 30-aircraft order for Block 50+ fighters and trainers for the former service
Aircraft division manager Ozcan Ertem says that while TAI's 25-year manufacturing activity has come to an end, it will continue to support the modernisation of in-service F-16s. The company has updated aircraft for the Turkish air force, and for fellow operators Jordan and Pakistan

For TAI time has came to play with F-35s , hope they can get License Production rights and Source Codes of F-35 as soon as possible.

. .
Getting source codes is next to impossible since they aren't even sharing them with Level 1 partners like UK.

Its no more impossible,if they continue like this all partners will be gone.
They have to offer something to keep them, with these costs they have to do something.

Indeed only Level 1 partner UK already announced they wont buy anymore F-35s(except 2 units they already bought) if Americans continue to be cheapskate and dont share codes with UK on other hand other possible F-35 buyers within partnership program like Canada,Denmark,Australia,Netherlands or Italy probaby won't buy F-35s because of economic crisis in Europe even if they buy it will be on low number like 2-3 squadrons at most.Today there are only three countries left within partnership program as F-35 buyer on large numbers : UK , Turkey and Israel.Of course outside of the partnership program US has other possible buyers like KSA or Japan but considering Japan's economic problems just like Europens and KSA decided go for an europen jet deal with TOT last year so US will have to step back if they want F-35 to be widely used multi-purpose jet like F-16.
