.
.
And on the other note I have never, in any kind of sporting event, seen fans of a country, sporting a banner for a country which their team is not even playing against.
.
This is not surprising.
.
What is actually surprising is that some people here think and vehemently claim that Indians are obsessed with Pakistan. Re-check the priorities please.

.
When was the last time Indians held a banner subjecting to Pakistanis in a match against Sri Lanka?

This actually shows something about these guys in the pic, that how satisfied, relieved & joyful they are-not at their country's World Cup win, but to show the world that Indian team is made of 'pussycats', and not their team, as many people might have been thinking 'since' last T20 World Cup final.

In their defense .. they probably made that banner not thinking that their were more teams playing other than India and Pakistan.. They look real smart from here. Whereelse were they gonna use it, other than plastering it outside their house?

The guy on the far left looks like Inzimam.

Dear Jako, I would ask you to read the following article and you'll get to know why the pakistani fans were pissed off!

First of all, we all saw on television that Yuvraj singh and harbhajan were dancing and making fun when pak was loosing to srilanka in super eight game.

Now read the article:

"Dil dil Pakistan, jaan jaan Pakistan," sang deliriously happy Pakistan fans in unison every time the DJ played Vital Signs' 1987 track at Trent Bridge. They waved their flags, blew their whistles, beat their inflatable stumps, and created the most vibrant and energetic atmosphere of the tournament.

As I made my way around the boundary's edge to get to the press conferences, I heard a couple of Pakistan fans shout, "Where's India now?" A fellow journalist and I turned to see who it was. They spotted us and yelled, "There they are, there they are." The Indian supporters had given them a hard time at the Oval, and at Lord's, when they cheered Sri Lanka against Pakistan. It was their moment now.
Amid all the bedlam, there was the peaceful yet surreal sight of a Pakistan fan praying his namaz by one of the stadium exits.

Hundreds remained on the Bridgford and Radcliffe roads long after Shahid Afridi had collected his Man-of-the-Match award, blowing trumpets, beating drums, waving flags, shouting themselves hoarse. They got into their cars - some sat on top of cars - and hit their horns, which people never ever do in England, creating a loud and prolonged blare. The din was terrific, the sounds carrying across the Trent river.

The person behind the counter from my doner-kebab takeout joint was wearing a Pakistan jersey. It was impossible not to share his happiness. The talk on the street was largely about one man - Afridi. There wouldn't have been a soul in Nottingham last night who didn't know Pakistan had beaten South Africa and secured a place in the final of the World Twenty20.

And I thought the Indians knew how to celebrate a win. I think I've decided which team to support at Lord's on Sunday.

Another one:

But if anyone was taking the mickey out of the India's absence it was the boisterous Pakistan fans, who had invaded grounds in large numbers throughout the tournament. The Pakistani band Vital Signs' age-old hit Dil, dil Pakistan reverberated through the afternoon as Younis Khan's men silenced Sri Lanka emphatically. "Dear India, you can hide your tears, you (are) pussycats. R (you are) no match for our 'majestic lions'" read a banner in one of the stands. The banter was sporting and taken by the Indian fans in the right spirit. "I bought my ticket from an Indian," was another poke at the former world champions

and lastly its just a banner, fans often do this.. whats the big deal? Or you're pissed off coz pak won?:cheesy:

before you open your mouth again without knowing the intention behind it i advise you to watch PAK-LANK super-8 match very very care fully.. indian crowds were being the most pathetic of all... celebrating and teasing pakistani crowds when incredible "team INDIA" players are doing bangras over fall of pak wickets and getting hit for 4s and 6s by lanka. and oh do watch india vs england match.. ...
alots of pakistans were touched by this incident and retaliated.

:pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

India is obsessed by its own image constantly calling it self a superpower, ahh leave the politics out. Have you never seen a Pakistan vs India Match its do or die for everyone and you should be reminded that many Indian supporters came out as well to support the opposition it was projected to the Indian hooligans, really and every amid society has them, vice versa. The stint by those supporters is amusing is not to be taken serious but as we can see the effect works perfectly on Indians since you are bothered about your image.;)
