The T-98 Kombat is a wheeled armoured vehicle built by Kombat Armouring, a subsidiary of Laura Group, in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Kombat is one of the fastest armored off-road vehicles in the world, it has protection capabilities from level B2 to the highest level - B7, including protection against 12,7 mm bullets.

There are two basic versions of the T-98 Kombat based on General Motors components, including 8.1l engine, Allison transmission and GM Heavy Duty suspensions. They are:

* The “VIP” The vehicle has no frame and has a monocoque double steel body. The highest protection level use a composite armor of ceramic between steel layers. “VIP” Combats have many options, natural leather and wood in the interior.

* The “Utility” is designed for special operations missions.

The armored body is based on a "metal-ceramic sandwich with cellular filler" technology. The 50 mm thick glass is proof against a 12 gauge shotgun firing an armor-piercing bullet. The monocoque body provides protection against mines blasts.

It is driven by a 340bhp V8, which gives the T-98 a top speed of 111mph (178km/h), making it the fastest all-terrain armoured vehicle in the world. The T-98 contains satellite navigation, a flat-screen television which can play DVD, climate control and an interior containing a mix of leather and wood. All the running gear and electronics are provided by General Motors. Kombat Armouring claims that the T-98 will protect occupants from bullets up to 12.7mm, shotguns, mines and ramming.[1]

I said We should give this a Try, Whats wrong in it.... did I say "Another Beast In Indian Custody" Like You guys say for what ever China Builds, get a Life Mr Falcon??

. .
it looks good for VIP travel as most of the asian forces don't have the luxury of having such accessories mentioned above .......

jaguar land rover used by British forces in Afghanistan (open top) looks more appealing

.
This car reminds me of a mafia car, but it would be good of VIP transport.
