T-625 & Turkish Utility Helicopter Programs

Well they have another one in the works which is supposed to be bigger...with T-129 bagged(domestic motor is in development in case you were gonna mention recent turkish clash with US) we just might see another agreement with TAI.
I know. But that'll take a long time and the current engine in development won't be enough for Mi17 class.

Russia will sell such equipment to Pakistan and they're the best. Why change..

.
Cuz we need to. Cuz we would have a more modern machine. And it will have interoperability, similar subsystems and spare parts as the T-129

This helicopter program will be quite long run.

I couldn't find the news link, but as far as I know, the T-625 is the first product in a family of 3-4 tons to 11-12 tons classes.

The next trunk will be NH90 counterpart, medium lift, multi-role military helicopter, around 10-11 tons.

Interesting that we don't hear anything about 10tonnes utility helicopter project, it isn't included in TAI's virtual hangar in Teknofest neither. I hope it would take it's first flight before 2023, it's really not as hard to develop as MMU.

You are right. The experience gained from T625 will be used on the 10 ton chopper imo. T625 would/should have taken far more time than anticipated because it's a stepping stone for the Turkish industry and there are many things to be ironed out. On the other hand, once the ground works have matured the 10 tonner would have taken less than planned.

According to final statements, The weight of medium/heavy utility helicopter program have been re-arranged to be as 12 tons instead of 10t and Atak-II (8ton) will be based on rotor, transmission of 12t helicopter instead of 6t class T-625.

This 12 ton is that the T70 or a separate project ?

This is the medium lift i was talking about earlier.
