T-129 Atak & Turkish Attack Helicopter Programs

it's recoil, check 4:50 in this video to see effects of cannon firing
Can I ask a question Dear?

How do Russians fit 30x165mm from autocannon to their helis? This strong caliber is used on BMPs and BMDs.
Even the USA couldnt fit 30x173mm to Apache. In Apaches They uses shortened 30mm caliber. 30x113mm.

Russian and American attack helicopters are much bigger (and heavier!) than T129. Thats why they need more powerful engines but also have space for bigger caliber weapons.(Russian 'Havoc' has 250 rounds of 30mm vs 500 rounds 20mm on T129)

I watched many Apache videos on youtube and I can Easily say t-129 is not bad accurate.

ATAK is indeed a thing o beauty. So fricking happy that Turkey maneaged to pull this project off. Maybe it would be a good idea to showcase it in Syrian arena, showcasing its abilities to potential buyers by producing few combat videos - like some sort of an add for the system in real combat expirience. .

Last thing I wish to see a Turkish Chopper over Syrian territory nowadays

Syria is a meat grinder, I would not like to see any of our helicopter's shot down.

Who would? But yuo are at war. And they are not made for airshows but to wage war. I didnt mean it like using ATAK in some solely PR stunt. But, if the need for its use comes, to make sure its combat prowes is properly marketed.

And if it is shot down, what would marketing say ?

Its not a matter of if, but when. And who will shot it down in north Aleppo. ISIS, with what?

So you acknowledge the risk is real yet you want to indulge yourself in a marketing scheme, with 15 basic configuration T129 helicopters in Inventory ?

MANPADS, RPG, AA guns.. Anything that can reach out and poke a hole in a thin skinned helicopter.

ok, then, keep them in helli shelters.

They are actively in use SE Turkey, where the threat and priority is higher. Flat land Syria, is easy pickings for artillery, not so in mountains..

I have a feeling we kinda didnt understand each other.

Oh, well.Lives goes on.

You want T129s to be used actively in Syria and use that opportunity to market T-129. Did I miss something ?
