This smells fishy. It's strange that a Turkish official would tell a Russian """news""" agency something before telling anyone in the Turkish media.

So a TAI official goes out and spills the beans to an Russian news agency known for its fake news but doesn’t talk to Turkish or Pakistani news about it? Again let me get this straight. According to this an TAI official went to TASS and was like “what’s up guys let’s talk about ATAK Export even though it has nothing to do with Russia” but no Turkish or Pakistani journalist got the same treatment?

Russia has been pumping fake news about Turkey ever since their conflict with Ukraine in the Black Sea to sabotage what is left of the Turkish-American relationship. This is just another step in it.

No source mentions about “ban” of engine for Pakistan. The approval phase has been proceeding but It takes a while. In recent days, It was said by TAI that first Pakistani Atak helicopter is entered into production line and there is nothing negative revealed by official mouths.

It would be interesting to note which Russian and Chinese Gunship matches or surpasses altitude capability of T-129 and also AH-1Z. Lastly, which gunship uses the Mmw to match the LongBow Mmw equipped AH-64 of IA/IAF.

Lhtec engine used on t129 is the best engine of its class. It was developed for Cancelled Comanche heli. This is why t129 is great at the high attitudes.

T-129 doesn't use Lhtec T-800 but Commercial CTS-800. Anyway, lets see how this will play out, cause they'll lose out on T625 If they act as they do, and french safran engines are plenty decent.
