Yeah you are right,Turkish pilots are training with the Turkish(wait for the transfer date,then talk) F-35 in the US,the sanctions on the two ministers are meaningless,doesnt hurt them or the government,the limitation of some loans is already calculated,the US isnt the only loanshark out there and its not like our economy is dependent on the US(EU,yes).

The US has been implementing an unofficial sanction on sales of weapons to Turkey for a while now and the atak engines are not that big of a deal either, they can restrict it in a flick of a finger.
Also first Pakistani ATAK delivery in 4-5 years? Where are you getting that from?

The way US is handling Pakistan & Turkey, it will negatively impact US relations in the long term. Meanwhile, Trump will satisfy his domestic population.
With good relations b/w Pakistan and both China & Russia, and Turkey too, we can diminish the threat posed by the USA actions. But in the short term, both PAK & Turkey will suffer.
Remember, our JF 17 was pursued due to US sanctions. If we are again sanctioned, we will be forced to get alternatives for our vital defence projects, and God-Willing, we will succeed.

Turk President has stood up to bullying and threats, and I am sure by how things are going in Pakistan, that Pakistan will give a though time to America.
