Syrian Air Defense Intercepted 71 Cruise Missiles Launched by West - Russian MoD

Bro, you misunderstood my point.

I pointed out that Pentagon would have live recordings of their strikes but they may not release such information to the public. Every missile has an onboard camera and stuff which provide live feed of its flight path (and engagement) to the relevant center of operations.

In-fact, Pentagon disclosed how many SAM were fired by Syrian defenses to stop their barrage. Everything is recorded.

Bro, truth will be revealed when evidence is made public. Until then these are nothing but claims. And we know much americans lie when it comes to wars.

.
People will choose what they want to see, the video is clear of incoming missiles which hit. However there is an intercept as well.
The video may be clear enough to speculate that some missile's weren't intercepted, but the video doesn't reveal the exact number of missiles fired and corroborates a simple understanding that it cannot be used to guage their interception or sucuess rates, if one is to draw logical conclusions.
A bit offtopic, but the world has yet to see the video evidence of OBL raid by US forces in Pakistan, regarding which most have no problem believing whatever the hocus-pocus US pulled off that night.

I suspect that much of the action was over by the time amateurish clips began to surface.

Clips showcase Syrians unloading some flares into the sky [which explode after a while] and/or few SAM in "ballistic trajectory." For example:

NOTE:

Lieutenant General McKenzie said the Syrians attempted to shoot down incoming missiles with 40 surface-to-air missiles using a "ballistic trajectory" and "without guidance."

Secondly, look at the timing of strikes; majority of people would be asleep at this time. Furthermore, US would strike at the time of its choosing and not advertise.

They never said they intercepted ALL OF THE MISSILES. Also, the U.S launched 76 missiles at 3 buildings!!! LOL. Clearly they launched 76 missiles at ONE site because they knew it was heavily defended and that many would be intercepted. If you really think that 76 missiles hit that one place, at the one site, then you must have mental problems

76 U.S Missiles hitting one site means there were 2 to 3 S-300 systems , Russian made S-300 are having 4 canisters and in each canister tube there are 8 to 12 Cruise Missiles. But there were even SA-22 Greyhound, 57E6 or 57E6-E two-stage solid fuel radio-command-guided surface-to-air missiles in sealed ready-to-launch containers. Missiles are arranged into two six-tube groups on the turret.

Maximum altitude: 3 km (1.9 mi), Maximum engagement rate is up to 10-12, Maximum tracking range: at least 24 km (15 mi), up to 28 km (17 mi).

US Missiles were fired from Red Sea according to US Military which clearly explains that US Missiles gone above from Occupied Palestine to the target in Damascus .

Haley issues warning at the UN; U.K. says no plans for further missile strikes

Western powers have no plans for further missile strikes on Syria but will assess their options if Damascus uses chemical weapons again, Britain’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said on Sunday as debate raged over the legality and effectiveness of the raids.

U.S. missile attacks struck at the heart of Syria’s chemical weapons programme on Saturday in retaliation for a suspected poison gas attack a week ago, and the three countries( Russia, Britian and France) insisted they were not aimed at toppling President Bashar al-Assad or intervening in a seven-year civil war.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, told an emergency Security Council meeting on Saturday that President Donald Trump told her that if Syria uses poisonous gas again, “The United States is locked and loaded.”

OPCW team in Syria

In Damascus, Syria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad met inspectors from the global chemical weapons watchdog Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for about three hours in the presence of Russian officers and a senior Syrian security official.

The inspectors were due to try to visit the site of the suspected gas attack. Moscow condemned the Western states for refusing to wait for their findings before attacking.

British Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn said that the legal basis used to support the British role was debatable, adding that he would only support action backed by the UN Security Council.

Russian Foreign Ministry official Vladimir Ermakov struck a apparently conciliatory tone on Sunday, saying Washington would want to maintain a dialogue with Moscow about strategic stability after the raids, Russian media reported.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that further Western attacks on Syria would bring chaos to world affairs. He made his remarks in a telephone conversation with Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani. A Kremlin statement said Putin and Rouhani agreed that the Western strikes had damaged the chances of achieving a political resolution in the multi-sided, seven-year conflict that has killed at least half a million people.

The capture of Eastern Ghouta is a significant milestone for Syria’s regime and paves the way for government troops to shift south to where the seven-year uprising first began: Daraa.

After losing swathes of territory to rebels, Syria’s Army has regained control of more than 55% of the country with crucial help from its ally Russia, according to analyst Fabrice Balanche.

“The liberation of Eastern Ghouta means lifting the security and military threat posed to Damascus,” said Bassam Abou Abdallah, who heads the Damascus Centre for Strategic Studies.

“After Ghouta, it’s likely the Syrian government will head south — the current situation in Daraa must be finished off,” he said.

The regime said it had retaken Eastern Ghouta on Saturday after a nearly two-month assault that killed more than 1,700 civilians.

The only risk
With Ghouta now taken care of, the only risk posed to Damascus stems from a few southern districts still held by the Islamic State group, including the Yarmuk Palestinian camp.

Al-Watan newspaper, which is close to the government, said the army will seek to “finish off” those districts, but analysts believe the regime’s real interest lies elsewhere.

These missile strikes gained absolutely nothing, irrespective of having 30%, 70% or 100% hit rate.

And bro, if you want to believe compulsive lies of NATO and Pentagon down to the letter, then go ahead.

The strikes were just symbolic to send a message to the syrian regime. It has never been to remove Assad per se. Else of they wanted to remove him by military force, they would have done so long ago without much effort. However, they too were cautious after the Libyan and iraqi fiasco, resson they have never really attacked the Syrian army with much fervour like say against ISIS. The stated objectives has never been targeting the Syrian army, in fact westeen powers have always stated that any military action was never to topple Assad or target his military. Except in this 2 one off instances where chemical weapons was used against Civilisns, that's the only time they targeted Syria's military installations.

Things to look for on missile interception video.

1.) You will be able to show the warhead intact.

Warhead only explode on proximity on the pre-set target, if you intercept the missile before it reaches the target, the warhead of the cruise missile will NOT explode, plastic explosive like PETN only explode on detonation, and it will drop to the ground inert and in most case, ejected off the cruise missile (because of the gas explosion from the missile body itself.)

And remember, cruise missile fly subsonic and low, so the chance of the warhead remain intact is very high. SO if any missile is intercepted, chances are you can find the warhead intact

2.) You will see 2 explosion instead of 1 if a cruise missile is intercepted.

First explosion is on impact, either by the SAM interception on the cruise missile or bullet from a CWIS penetrating the missile body.

Then there are the secondary explosion, which is the burning of the fuel of the cruise missile. Which take longer to ignite (a few second longer) so you will see 2 explosion, not one.

In case you are wondering what to look for if a missile is being intercepted.

All BS above!

Russia has just one warm water port in the world there, and you think it's piss easy for NATO to take over Syria like they did Iraq, Afghanistan etc.

Syria does not operate the S-300.. now they will receive it according to the latest statements by the Russian defence minister.. what they have now is the Pantsir and Tor or Buk..

To the dismay of Usrael who was thinking this attack will save it a lot of headaches.. now they are more concerned about the real capabilities of the Syrian defence systems.. and worst yet, the S-300 is coming too..

Yes it's easy for NATO forces to take Syria...
The problem is not if they can do it... it's How long will it last and How much...
Iraq/Afghanistan were easily taken... but the aftermath was problematic... Trillions of $ used and misused... and years and years of political desert...

So... If the US want to take Syria...they "have" the means to do it... Whatever Russians are in or out...

You just need one thing... "Legitimacy"... For Iraq it was WMD...and Afghanistan it was Taliban/Ben Laden... YOu just need to create another one for Syria... WHo knows... Iran maybe...

.
So the Russian general told that they have intercept 71 missile, still no cruise missile seen but old soviet missiles.

Jun 20, 2013 - Russia will honour its controversial contract to deliver S-300 air defence missile systems to Syria, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Thursday.

To the dismay of Usrael who was thinking this attack will save it a lot of headaches.. now they are more concerned about the real capabilities of the Syrian defence systems.. and worst yet, the S-300 is coming too..

Russian radars do cover whole of Palestine and US Navy being in Red Sea along with the GCC Navy and Indian Navy are giving open message in the region.

I think Saudis leaders would be also worried about the Syrian regime receiving more weapons /S-300, Since it will only solidify the Assad regimes hold on power something Saudis leaders have been firmly against since the beginning of this cuvil war. So its abit tricky..
This brutal civil war is still far from over though. Syria is already a semi failed state with a weak fragmented government and presence of foriegn and regional powers presence(with their local proxies) carving out their own zone of influence there . Only a very naive person will think this incompetent weakened syrian army poses any threat whatsoever to Israel. Lol Even at their peak they never posed a real challenge to Israel(actually the Israeli - syrian border was the most peaceful border of Israel prior to the uprising) much less now when they hsve been exhausted fighting against their own people/destroying their country snd battling other foreign groups. Without Iran with its shias proxies/militias/hexbollah and most of all Russia's massive air and logistical support Assad would have fallen a while ago. They were losing ground against ill equipped Syrian militias/rebels before Russia and Iran with its proxies intervened. Imagine them fighting a powerful professional military like Turkey or Israeli. Lol

Saudi Arabia stated officially that Assad will stay, so there is zero impact of the S-300 on KSA, it threatens Usrael's airforce directly.. And the Syrian army is now more hardened than ever before.. You can be sure they might defeat Usrael or Turkey in case of a real invasion of Syria.. they are battle proven now..mostly in urban warfare.. but in general warfare also..
