The Russians use the S-300 air defense missile systems, the Tor air defense missile systems, the Pantsir, Buk, Osa-AK air defense systems successfully to hit targets that are in their geometric, ballistic and radar characteristics to hit small-sized fast-flying air targets.. it is an integrated air defence system..unlike in Syria where we see the Pantsir on its own or the S-300 on its own.. That is faulty..

The most important point in this article is this:

"Radars which do work, however, are reportedly those manufactured and delivered by China in recent years, such as the long-range JY-27 and JYL-1 systems as well as the LLQ120 radar which detects low-altitude targets. These, the Syrian military has said, work successfully in their detection of Israeli missiles and help the success of some Russian air defence missiles."

Can we now comfortably say that the Chinese have a much better R&D and Quality in their equipment compared to Russia via Radar Tech and elsewhere? This is big and good news, considering Syria is an active war zone and some Chinese equipment are now being tested?

S-300 covers almost all of Syria.
It definitely covered the Pantsirs that were destroyed.

israeli spyder airdefence system failed to intercept 24 PAF airplanes (glide bombs too) & only thing they shot down was an indian mi-17 helicopter with 6 officers onboard .
.
.
there are rumours that Pakistan jammed them with the help of Chinese EW equipments .
