If Saudi was a puppet state ,it wouldn't impose an oil embargo on the west in the early 70s ,nor wouldn't support Pakistan unconditionally with the nuclear program while the entire world knew that Pakistan was making a weapon, everybody managed to keep the mouth shut except a few states. As I stated earlier, just because the GCC harbors a bunch of US military bases, no one has the right to intimidate mini-states.
