Syria Iran ditch USD in trade payments

. .
Good, continue dumping the dollars, worthless paper.

. .
Iraq, under Saddam Hussein, replaced the USD with Euro in the oil-for-food program under UN. Paul Wolfwitz stated "economically, we just had no choice in Iraq. The country swims on a sea of oil" in 2003 when he was asked why they were going to war against Iraq since no WMD exists there.

So Syria and Iran announcing they'll bypass the USD could be a trigger of a new war. A the same time, it looks like both countries don't have a choice as they're both sanctioned by the US and its allies. Furthermore, the way that Trump is obsessed with Iran, it reminds me of the obsession that GW Bush had with Iraq.
