He was founder and a person who established the base. But the second person who turned ISI into a huge beast which it's today was General Akhtar Khan. He becoming ISI chief and remaining ISI chief throughout Afghan Jihad turned ISI into way bigger thing then it ever was.
nope, the CIA built the beast by providing state-of-the-art training and equipment during the First Afghan war.He was founder and a person who established the base. CIA role was providing money. Entire thing was controlled by ISI. ZIA never let CIA directly deal with Mujahideen. State of the art is a good joke.nope, the CIA built the beast by providing state-of-the-art training and equipment during the First Afghan war.
Dude, your whole electronic surveillance system is provided by the US. Mujahideen were only foot soldiers or paid warriors. Especially after 911. US govt pour millions of dollars in ISI. CIA trained your top army boys, provided gadgets to track down terrorist using satellite phones. If you follow the news, once politicians said on the floor ...today the US-provided technology to catch the terrorist is used to spy on politicians. Anti IED devices, to geo-fencing equipment, high-frequency eavesdropping devices are all provided by the US govt to catch terrorists.CIA role was providing money. Entire thing was controlled by ISI. USA hardly provided us with anything specially serious gear for spying. We either stole it or we took from other countries. In fact during Afghan Jihad and also during war on terror we kept asking for equipment from CIA and NSA also. We got peanuts.Dude, your whole electronic surveillance system is provided by the US. And yet, Taliban beat the crap out of them.Dude, your whole electronic surveillance system is provided by the US. Mujahideen were only foot soldiers or paid warriors. Especially after 911. Well, Pakistan is a developed country compared to Afghanistan. As far as US technology. US hit ISIS commander right after the Kabul attack. It means they know " when and where" . People forget some of the hardcore TTP leaders hit by US drones ... like Baitulullah Masood and his brother ...And yet, Taliban beat the crap out of them.
If their technology is so super duper, all-hearing, all-seeing, why was their as* handed over to them in Afghanistan?
