Engineers here in US don't make even half of that!!!

My job title is Control Engineer - and most of what I do isn't related to control engineering, but rather software development and testing - but I do sales negotiations, presentation at defense expos, safety testing, software coding, project management, cross-department work and act as a liaison between multiple parties too, among other duties.

Officially I'm an engineer, but my job goes far beyond just that.

Yeah Norwegian foods scare me too. I like fish, will eat whale, but to be honest I kind of subsist on foreign foods like Pakistani and sandwiches. Only around the holidays do I try to keep things traditional.

Fortunately we haven't yet been infected with the fusion craze you guys have been going through recently. I haven't seen a Kebabpizza in Norway yet.

nice, not bad. and when you mean stock options im guessing your salary include shares.
my wages depend on how much i earn. on average £170k after takes which is similar to what you earn. but if i was shrude i can earn way more than that by having the money offshore

In Switzerland you wont find anyone earning less than 20$/h even for the simplest jobs.

In U.S, average college graduate gets a 40k-50k job right out of college, and you are considered doing "well" if you get that kind of job to begin with.

Only engineers and programmers etc get better paying job right out of college than that.

If you want a better job (60k-70k), well you gotta do Masters.

Probabaly the first nordic country to reach 10 million? No doubt its a beautiful and very clean country, much better than its neighbour country of Denmark in my opiniom

Well you are so right that it's beautiful n better in terms of kindness n good behavior n looks as well as Danish r more racist n rude but in terms of jobs as per my opinion Denmark is better .

I make roughly 300,000 USD as a control engineer, so I can't say expensive pizza is really much of a bother to me.

Well there are waiting lines but the health care is generally good, you will get any kind of treatment for free and most treatments can be done in the country so you dont have to go abroad but you pay quite much for health insurance though.
