Sweden: "Turkey wants things we can't give"

What happened today is not freedom of expression. It is a clear provocation. There is no difference between opening a poster of Osama bin Laden in front of the US freedom monument and opening a poster of another terrorist in Stockholm for us. But this last case is beyond all limits. While this latest Islamophobic provocation could have been prevented, it took place under the protection of Swedish law enforcement. So now we are sure of Sweden's intentions.

Our advice to Sweden is to sign a special concession agreement for US troops to protect their country. Because after so many provocations they have blocked the way for them to become a NATO member in the near future. Their second alternative is to make a deal with Russia.

Some may ask how a legitimate state can grant such a concession to another country's army. But it is not unprecedented for US troops to operate inside Sweden and even bypass the Swedish judiciary to make arbitrary arrests. When the US wants it, Sweden can only comply, so its people are not bothered by it. Society is designed accordingly. The problem here is that the same society despises Turkiye's (in a country whose people are Muslim and non-Western) sensitivities and related requests.

Edit: Swedish statesmen have been expressing their discomfort with the agreement for several months and in order to bypass it, the prime minister's office and the ministers of state have taken the issue to the point of both mediaizing it for populism and seeking special support from countries like the United States. So Sweden was looking for ways to back out of this agreement. Since they could not declare it themselves, they turned a blind eye to a major provocation by instrumentalizing a far-right party leader. Most probably, TR will suspend the talks on the grounds that this islamaphobic provocation took place under the protection of Swedish law enforcement. From this point on, no amount of support can restart this process unless Sweden makes a sincere apology and the judiciary does what is necessary. And I think that's exactly what the Swedish government has strategized. I think it's a clever strategy, but specifically the content of the provocation was a very stupid choice.

But, the real fun will begin when the islamaphobic/turkophobic atlanticists who support it continue their ongoing contempt and try to create a public opinion demanding Turkiye's expulsion (what is technically impossible without TR's own decision) from NATO on the grounds of this islamaphobic attack.

What happened was a clear provocation, and as such allowed according to laws of Freedom of Expression. As the Danish guy got permission to perform a demonstration, it was protected by police, like all other lawful demonstrations.
Swedish politicians, unlike those in dictatorships, are not allowed to stop lawful activities.
Another part of Freedom of Speech is that the country is not responsible for lawful statements made by citizens or non-citizens on its territory. If you want an apology, You have to take it up with the person making the statement and argue against his judgement of Islam. If you want to protest against Quran burning, You have to apply for a demonstration, and this will also be protected by the police.

Turkey is well aware of how this works. If Turkey really believed that such provocations should be banned, then Turkey should arrest those that burned the Swedish flag outside the embassy, but since Turkey believes that it has the right to insult others, but noone has the right to insult Turkey, this won’t happen.
Countries that support Freedom of Speech would not bother.

Such demonstrations are made in all other NATO countries and are allowed based on Freedom of Speech. Your failure to understand Freedom of Speech just underlines the lack of education in authoritarian regimes.

Countries which honour ”Rule of Law” work differently.

Note: If we would adopt laws banning Blasphemy, then the logical result is that all exercising of religion would be banned, as most such activity would be Blasphemous according to one religion or the other.
I.E: Are Turkey prepared to punish those that publicly deny the ”Holy Trinity” from minarets on loudspeakers multiple times per day.
Why should this extreme hatred of Christendom be allowed to continue?
Will Turkey continue this hypocricy for all eternity?

You expect that Blasphemy should be 100% defined according to Your terms. It does not work that way.

I guess Turkey fits somewhere here.

”One wants to be loved, if not loved, then admired, if not admired, then feared, if not feared, then loathed and despised. You want to give people some kind of feeling. The soul trembles at the void and wants contact at any cost.”

Hjalmar Söderberg - Doktor Glas (1905)

Its a clown show for sure, voted against these kinda immigrants, they really pushed a college girl off tracks.

No afghanis/iraqis anymore, 62% tax rate to apologize to these child molesters is too high a cost.

Next election mandates either respectfully live with us or gtfo, minorities like us will make immigrants be the good guys, again.

-- Sweden and Türkiye agreed that counter-terrorism cooperation

-- The first time , NATO created a permanent mechanism to ensure the continued cooperation on the fighting terrorism ( counter-terrorism special coordinator )

-- Sweden will support Turkiye's EU membership

and never forget that
Sweden’s NATO accession protocol should be allowed by the Turkish Parliament
Turkish Parliament can block Sweden's NATO membership ,,

I remind everyone in 2003 , ERDOGAN supported USA
but Turkish Parliament blocked USA's 60.000 troop deployment from Turkiye to attack Iraq and USA was shocked

NATO should be disbanded after soviet union and european army should be formed in EU. NATO demographics are shifting too fast and culture is changing too fast to cause eventual clash of ideas. America is turning black-hispanic christian majority soon while Western Europe is turning into Muslim + others vs christian situation due to large amounts of Muslims and others in UK/France/Germany etc.

European policies are made by Europeans, not by Internet trolls.
NATO is an extremely low cost operation, and there is no reason to abandon it.
Right now, only 5% of Europeans are Muslim, and plenty of those are Muslims in name only.
