Wouldn't the tourism pollute radio signals?

Smart phones are banned.

The tourist centre is miles away from the telescope.
Only a small proportion of tourists to that centre has the chance of visiting the observation platform of the telescope (just take a quick photo, then go back to the centre)
And there will be organised shuttle buses transferring tourists.
The entire process is well organised and controlled.

This tourist site is just a tiny part of the whole tourist package Pingtang County offers.

This is the problem with Chinese authorities.

They spent 100 million on science, and then 750 million on other tourism.

Wouldn't it have been far better if those 750 million were spent on other areas of science?

Many huge research projects could have been funded by those 750 million.

indian can't teach anything to china about science

everything they are doing from science, to economy, to their industry and military they are 10x times ahead of indians.
