@danger007 All dhongi baba are mocked by every Indian equally, infact Hinduism is the most mocked questioned ripped religion in this country, and yet Hindus don't question it because they are tolerant. Problem is no minority religion is not mocked for its superstitious or backward fundamentalism as much as Hinduism just because it will give negative vibes of India being anti minority, which is not at all true. A Hindu can also be as much emotional and sentimental as any minority religous person, but no, Hindus are asked to compromise just because they are more in numbers, its fascism.
JNU students burned Manusmriti to show how backward how secular they are, i say why only Manusmriti, burn all Hinduism related books old texts written 1000s of years ago which preach hate, violence and does not stand upto the moral values of 21st century. I have no problems with that at all. But the same can be done with minority religious texts which holds same medieval thinking? Think it as an Indian, not as a Christian.
And about appeasment politics, its a cancer to any progressive country. It just needs one party to start the culture of appeasment politics, others are forced to follow it. Take the example of Dalits. Suppose a party starts inciting Dalits to revolt against some other party (check todays Ashutosh's @ashutosh83b tweets you will get my point) for votes, the other party is also forced to honeydking that community, thats how cycle of appeasement starts and have been going on since decades. Don't you see the irony that Dalits have been used for politics since decades yet they are so poor? And i don't think you being Christian will ever take a stand against fake news like attacks on Christains in Delhi elections, hence forcing Hindus to not take a stand against their fellow religious troublemakers. Its a vicious cycle and those who benefit from it fuel it more. Hindus have been tolerant enough, its time for minorites to reciprocate.
As for Mother Teresa, if she was some Hindu and Sushma was going to Nepal for her canonisation equivalent for Hinduism if there is anything like that, then the news would have been somethin like "Hindutva row: Sushma going to Nepal for this this this while monorites are treated like that that that". And for Mother Teresa being a social worker, remember this, no other country has any genuine humanitarian interests in India, be it Christian country or any other, they all look for their own interests.
