Yes they do. They even starve in UK. However it is the scale. The magnitude of starvation in India. The numbers are like 1,000,000,000,00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

I do. India has a much bigger population that UK and Pakistan combined so in absolute numbers children starving would be obviously more. Moreover India like Pakistan is not at the same scale of development as UK so it is absurd comparing the two.

If comparison on how far India and Pakistan have progressed on eradicating hunger has to be made then do so on a proportional bases.

Last time around he did speak at UNGA. But this time there weren't many head of states speaking at that place. Even countries like Afghanistan & Nepal din't bother to be represented by their heads.
So..it's a wise decision by Modi to let his deputy respond!
