Hi,
I think that even if india decides to go nuclear free---pakistan cannot afford to do so---the difference in conventional weaponery is so great that it maynot happen.
Unless we first resolve our issues and make peace. Kashmir is at the core of every problem---it needs to be taken care of. Secondly---india must decide not to run their troops to the border every single time an insurgent group attacks within india.
Majority of pakistanis want peace with india---there is no doubt about it---there is a small minority of pakistani extremists that don't want it to happen.
On the other hand---is there a large majority of indians which also wants peace with pakistan---wheras I see a very large opposition group in india that is openly anti pakistan and anti muslim.
How about indian members on this board---without getting into the argumentative side of the issue---is peace between pakistan and india possible---keeping in mind that small insurgent groups would want to sneak in to create terror.

That is absolutly right - Pakistan dont have enough convestional warfare to match india. And the gap is actually increasing between these two countries. So pakistan do have shadow of nuclear weapon to protect itself.

That is surely there but sir living in india and being a kashmiri i know- its impossible that India leave kashmir for pakistan or give freedom. A freedom of kashmir as independent state will actually bring lot of trouble for kashmir.
I think the best solution will be a transparent Kashmir to world. kashmiri dont really want freedom they just want their right. and their progress. so indian govt should take strong steps for up liftment of kashmir.
I totally agree - Its so childish - to go to border everytime some terrorist problem occurs in india.
A greater understanding between two countries is required.

sir majority of people want peace, on both sides of border its all political and media generated propaganda which iniitate flame between two countries.
I think a normal office going or student pakistani and indian are just same. they want progress and want to escape this poverty.
and my god we are frigginng capable of leading in all the fields where american or European prospered in past.
On the other hand---is there a large majority of indians which also wants peace with pakistan---wheras I see a very large opposition group in india that is openly anti pakistan and anti muslim.
Sir a bunch of idiots dont want peace or spread hate for religion i tell you 99% of people want peace and they dont hate Pakistanis - they do hate pakisan's way of dealing ( ofcourse media and politically generated hate).
idiots are everywhere- you search for one and you will find 1000. but the problem is hate spreading people are given more face by media that's why situation look so bad.
ask any Indian and they will tell you how they think pakistan is way too more hateful than Indians. because media show only haters not peace lovers.

is that a trick question peace is possible ofocurse we are hopeful. otherwise if we loose this hope we will end up killing each other by the next moment.
and you know our generation care dime for - pakistani indian history of conflict. we are gettign eduated and we understand things. we want progress and we know india's problem is not pakistan but this - horrible politically genrated - corruption , and hate among each other.
My hope was kept alive by - people not giving a single seat to Raj thakre and shiv sena loosing ground. and bjp's anti muslim policy rejected by voters.
We have hope and we will change things.
