Hundreds of 'test aircraft' and our allies are starting to get theirs, its coming along acceptably.

Interestingly enough, the F-35 has also been designed with enough space to be able to fit directed energy weapons on it in the future as an upgrade . (I think it was in place of the lift fan or something of that nature, so it may only be for the f-35 A and C)
