What do the achievements of America have to do with the natives of the land? They just offered the land and resources, what good is that for them? Countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Tunisia had great leadership and the Americans sent their military in and removed them. The leadership in those countries are a direct result of American intervention.

You have the freedom to run your own country, good or bad. It’s the responsibility of your own government. I know the west does not believe in self determination.
