Once again the federal government is taking the undemocratic step of going against the wishes of the Parliament. At this key juncture, they should be stopped and I hope for their own sakes this Parliament takes swift action.

Moreover they have lied to the public once again when they said just today in the morning that no decision on the supply routes has been taken. This should be done in a democratic manner, if there is a Parliamentary commission entrusted with the job, it should be allowed to make the final decision.

They shouldn't open it, period

I think it would be better for pakistan to let NATO-US forces retreat in a orderly manner through pakistan using the land routes rather then hinder them.........pakistan wants them out of Afghstan so why make it hard for them.

Resolution of Pariliment is being ignored between all these developments, yet PPP govt will come to fool people about so called "sorry"

The country has been sold by PPP, its time that public breaks the gates of Presidency and PM house and drags these traitors out by their collars.

Parliament ignored, peoples wishes ignored. There is no option left but to revolt to restore the supremacy of Democratic rule.

That, my friend, is an oxymoron

It isn't since what we have here is not democratic rule but a puppet government, a mouth piece for the United States with Kaira on TV telling us "Humne ek bohot bari Aalmi taakat ko rok kar rakha".

True democracy is by the people, for the people of the people. Not By America, for America, of America.

Char dharo ghaddaron par!

There was no apology here mind you.

And the transit fees have not even been raised.

Gen John Allen did do something on his visit. Now kayani had a strong stance since day one, while the government was ready to open for quite somettime.

Let's see who crumbled.

That is an American principle enunciated by an American. Does it not stand to reason that one's own morals shall be atrophied and one shall listen to the power from whom one is drawing inspiration?

I am sorry to say Asim but don't know why you give so much importance to this parliament. Practically this parliament has as much importance and worth as few people discussing current affairs on a dhaba.
