Supermodel Ayyan's father shot and wounded

Every system has its inherent flaws, When there is a flexibility to adopt to times in that system. The system survives or it declines.

sad... i don't like all this consumerism that has come into china, and the consumerism led to the corruption.

i always feel sad when some pdf members like chinese dragon tend to insult the ccp and socialism and prefer to forward "chinese nationalism"... nationalism?? how is prc different than from some country in the western bloc??

development should not mean blind consumerism... china should get rid of it.

in the last few years, china has been speaking/doing less and less on world affairs... that is not how a socialist superpower should behave.

I agree with most of yuor post but this Musharraf thing!? No way man. He had his opportunity and he left behind a lot of problems.

well, he did open up pakistan, though by not using the opportunity ( as you said ) he allowed retaining of the old corrupt judiciary and old-style professional politicians in charge, which can to bite him later.

he should have adopted a different political system... something simpler rather than the huge levels of power positions from the british system.

Pakistan needs strong Presidential system. Pakistan has always prospered under strong Presidential systems.

i can mention zia. :)

Just to add to your comment here. There was no leader more popular than Musharraf when he imposed his rule. PPP and PMLN had faded away due to their corruption. But he arm twisted them, blackmailed their corrupt party members and brought them in to join his king's party.

By doing this, he lost his good reputation and provided opportunity to both PMLN and PPP to make a come back.
