Celebrities 're used by underworld for money laundering and for smuggling drugs, at times celebrities carry expensive jewelry for someone else(to escape taxes). Since this lady was caught in Pakistan, i'm assuming she'll soon be able to get bail.
Sad that a pretty face like her had to stoop to such level to make a living.

Can govt keep the money? I hope it gets distributed among the security and customs so they take less bribe and work hard.

something i am not getting as well........ because as the story said she is relocating to europe, but if that was the case she would have done it through banking channels, secondly as you said, if she did it for some big wig, the case would not have been filed, and chai paani would have done it.
