I was hiking up the mountain the other day, when this guy with prosthetic legs ran past me and left me in the dust. I consider myself to be in decent shape, but damn that bruised my ego. These athletes deserve all the respect they get.

By the larger proportion of the disabled population to the rest of the world, we still have a long way to go. But encouraging the athletes to participate in the paralympics by providing them with proper training and finance is the right way to do and we are doing quite well. We give them a chance for aspiring for a better live despite their misfortune!
