Ludicrous! The F-35's project cost to date is around the $1 TRILLION mark (around a 5 fold increase in the original projected cost), the FGFA deal is estimated to cost India around $30 Billion- it isn't going to rise by 3000%+.

do you think india will spend 30 billion dollars plus ?? we don't have the financial capabilities to do so my dear friend, even if the russkies ask us to do so

We will be spending 30 billion plus over next 15-20 years for this.............out of which 11 billion are just for r&d dude.

I was referring to fly away cost of one fighter jet. Not the R&D cost of F-35 Programe and manufacturing of 1000+ fighters over decades.
