Yup it has killed them thats why terror incidents have fallen by 80%, their ability to do mass scale terror attempts has been hampered since their leaders are based in Afghanistan now thus resorting to planting bombs in soft targets in a province close to Afghan border, like this & previous parachinar incident. These type of incidents here and there might happen one or two times every 3-4 months, as long as their friends in NDS are backing them & giving them refuge in Afghanistan !!!

Unfortunate. But we all know until we resolve the underlying problems, the core reasons for militancy and our problems with cross border-Afghan attacks on Pakistan these problems will continue.

We need to fix things internally too. Improve the justice system which allows known militants to escape and then there are injustices committed against the local people in FATA by landlords and mafias. The Taliban by punishing these mafias gain an elevated position in the eyes of the locals. Furthermore the TTP has taken control of the jirgas in some parts and regions. There are multiple problems. We created the ideology of violence and terrorism when sitting in the American lap in the 1980's just to defeat the Soviets.

I think we need to fix our problems with Afghanistan, use hot pursuit if we must (A little like Turkish policy against ISIS and KPP), end injustice, provide education and facilities, end the rampant unemployment and take severe action against militants of the Taliban-do not at any cost allow them to become those who are the law and provide justice. They kill robbers and give justice to the people while the courts have 1.7 Million cases pending. I think we need to take these problems and core reasons into account.
