Suicide bombing on military vehicle in Fatehjang

I'm not blaming the pasthun community as a whole. But I would prefer that we, the Potoharis, don't become a minority in our own homeland. These people are migrating to Islamabad, Pindi and Fatehjhang in buses everyday. And they don't intend to go back. It seems like they would make us a minority in Pindi-Islamabad within a few decades. What would be next then? Chakwal and Jhelum? Pakistan should be a federation like UK. By the looks of things right now, it seems as if the whole scotland migrates to england and make london a scottish speaking city.
Also my aim is not to offend people here. But I'm pretty sure, Peshawaris and Waziristanis would not like it if millions of Punjabis started settling there permanently.

Also we don't want thousands of imported deobandis in our society. When Zia wanted to punish the peaceful Gilgit Baltistani people for being ismailis, he settled thousands of pakhtuns in Gilgit and Chilas. Now those two cities are a pakhtun dominated. This influx of deobandis also wasn't good for the natives there, and now the whole place is notorious for sectarian conflict. Some years ago, a bus full of Gilgit Baltistanis was stopped in KPK, and the shiites taken out and shot dead. Gilgit Baltistanis have been peaceful and highly educated people historically, but due to the injustice that Zia brought to their homeland, a lot of them hold anti-Pakistan sentiments.
Pindi is becoming second karachi, lot of pashtuns are buying properties there. Blame military operations in FATA and PATA

.
well there wasnt terrorism before ten years but the afghanis were here. this is the second generation of afghanis which are living here and they aint going anywhere. we have to deal with it one way or the other. they hate us because we consider them weak and love to boss them around all the time. have you read zaeef's book? it'll give u insight of the problem.

10-15 years where they did not integrate. 9/11 exacerbated the situation.

Refugee status will be revoked and they will be shifted back. High earners will remain under visas.

If they feel they are "bossed" around then they have inferiority complex. People like that cannot be helped. Either they go educate themselves or go back to their own country to fix this complex.

.
As the ceasefire is over..Pakistani army is hitting TTP bases in tribal areas ..clearly TTP is swinging back into action and hitting back Pakistani cities...but seemingly their tactics have changed..they are solely hitting military targets, instead of civilian ones.

I hope it won't end up like Karachi too.
You mean ethnic riots? Punjabis are not like bhaiyas.
If you mean crimes, then i cant assure you on that. Large number of unknown people pouring into your area are naturally not to be trusted.
And with pashtun settlement, the city will also be prone to talibanization.
According to saleem safi, imran khan won pindi seat due to pashtun votes, do you agree?

What are you saying about Gilget is true? That is indeed fucked up . And by the way Islamabad is not Potohari city but Federal. Its a city of elite from all over country, i doubt poor tribals can afford homes there. And situation of kidnapping etc is even worse in Peshawar. To the point that many rich people from KPK are migrating to Punjab and setting up businesses.

Today news...

Kidnapping, extortion worry KP businessmen

PESHAWAR: The business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has warned to launch a protest campaign over increasing incidents of kidnapping for ransom and extortion in the province.

“Increasing incidents of kidnapping and extortion is a matter of serious concern for the businessmen of KP,” observed Zahidullah Shinwari, president of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI).

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that lawlessness in the province was forcing businessmen to shift to other parts of the country. Mr Shinwari urged the government to provide security to businessmen so commercial activities could flourish in the militancy wracked province. The KPCCI president said that according to a survey of an American institute, Peshawar was on the top of the list of most dangerous cities in the world. He also shared figures about crime incidents, and said that in 2013 a total of 22,727 cases were registered in Peshawar out of which 101 were related to terrorism, 56 to kidnapping and 23 to extortion. Whereas till April in 2014, a total of 8,938 cases were reported wherein 28 were related to kidnapping and 61 to extortion.

The KP chamber’s leader said it was a matter of concern that in the first four months of the current year, 61 cases of extortion had been reported compared to only 28 cases reported in 2013. Mr Shinwari said as a first step, the KPCCI would set up a protest camp after which demonstrations would be planned for acceptance of their demands.

Speaking on the occasion, former KPCCI president Ghazanfar Bilour said that the PTI-led provincial government was not giving heed to the serious issue as a result of which commercial activities in the province were diminishing fast.

Nope, he's not right. Most Pathans in Pindi are recent migrants with votes registered in other places. Imran Khan would have won in Lahore too, but there was rigging there. This constituency is generally Hanif Abbasi's but he's really unpopular due to ephidrine scandal. Btw, how would Pathans react to thousands of other ethnics moving to their cities? And this Talibanization is what I was opposing, not the educated open minded pashtun migrants, yet people made it sound like a whole ethnic issue. I have a firm belief that some of these recent migrants are informers of TTP. They might have to face a police and intelligence backlash if tempers flare up too much.

Ask anyone from Gilgit Baltistan who's politically aware. They blame the Pakistani state for sending these takfiris into their homeland. And Peshawar is a mess because of the criminality of these fata people. They claim to be the best muslims but when it comes to "karobar", islam doesn't have a stake.

0 chance of that happening because even in Karachi most pashtuns can't vote....

They indeed practice fucked up version of Islam. They have made KPK hell for businessmen and normal people, next stop is Punjab.

Most likely hamid like punjabis in ISI are leaking info to taliban.
The credit for successful missions in Afghanistan and FATA goes to pashtuns in ISI. They are mostly from the regions where taliban dominance didnt occur e.g karak, nowshera, mardan, charsada, swabi etc. These regions supported british army just like potohar.
Though it must be remembered that these are also the regions which are strongholds of pashtun nationalism. Its pashtun nationalism which prevented talibanization of these areas. In short pashtuns in army would be o.k with anti-taliban policy, but not anti-pakhtun policy

Though Hamid Gul is culturally and provincially a Punjabi now but racially he's a Pukhtun cuz he himself said in an interview tht his forefathers migrated to Punjab from Swat/Malakand region.

Why is all this such a common knowledge in Pakistan? What sorta cars ISI officials travel in, what sorta escorts they have, what routes they take, where their offices are located :what:. I mean in this thread alone, we had random civilians spilling all this information over the internet. If the ISI has such a public presence, hitting them wouldn't exactly need any sorta inside help.

Compare this to India, 95% of the people probably have never even heard of RAW, let alone know about their offices and what sorta vehicles they travel in!

Perhaps the ISI needs to "tone it down" a bit.:undecided:
