how can drone attacks ever justify blowing away your own countrymen like this ?

tell this to a tribal who never been to school,had just seen his relatives dead and house blown up...

the blame lies with GOP too...such people should be approached and compensated in money and providing them alternative accommodating...

those reasons you are about to mention have always been there...but drones were the catalyst..the reason of creation of people who got nothing to lose

Drone strikes have been effective in decimating AQ ranks and bigwigs in both Pakistan and Yemen, also added targets for strikes in Pakistan are Haqqanis, Taliban and TTP, the whole point of using armed drones is to avoid collateral damage..but as you say its the indirect collateral damage of both drones and the WOT thats taking its toll.

Suicide attackers have existed for many hundred years. The problem is currently not confined to Pakistan or to the Muslim extremist movements. Sri Lanka experienced its fair share with the Tamil Tigers. In Africa there are many child soldiers who are given one bullet, rubbed with some mumbo jumbo black magic stuff and told that they will survive even a hundred bullets fired at them but that they must return with at least killing one of their enemy. Offcourse the kids buy the story and it is reported that some of these kids take 2 or 3 AK47 bullets before they are killed. Poverty and desperation will make humans do the strangest things. Religion is not even needed to fuel them on. Pity that so many people had to die but hopefully the Pakistani authorities will start cracking down on this menace.
