IMO the best chance that Pakistan has for establishing peace on its western border is to actively engage with Afghan Taliban and facilitate them to form a uniform governemnt in Afghanistan in collaboration with relevant stake holders ( to minimize any chance of civil war) . The current regieme in Kabul is anti Pakistan to its core and an Indian stooge, is a disease beyond cure and has to go.

To be honest, I think Pakistani intelligence agencies don't analyse things properly. If they had, they would have pin pointed the root cause of various kinds of terrorist activities uptill now. What I see usually is, they blame someone on either bias or just some random idea. Then a party or some group is made demon in media. While blasts and all kind of terrorist activities return in some other form at some other place.
I don't know, what is the issue. Is it incompetency, is it lack of resources, it's just they don't want to work or it is someone else who doesnt let them work.

Whatever it is, the truth is, we are vulnerable in the region. India on the other hand has proven to be way better performing in this regard.

We did the same in 1990s

Then have we responded or are we looking after our own "interests".
Indian agencies know very well which Pakistani generals or beureaucrats son or daughter is studying/working in which country. And the funny part is, these generals and beureaucrats also know it that Indian agencies know it.
And then comes a criminal silence from Pakistani departments. And this extends to a limit that COAS clearly says: Dear India let's forget kashmir, just don't hit us next time.
Achi bhali guzar rahi Hai aram se, Kia tang kerny aajatay ho tum log roz roz...

one jigra argument and its game over

Trust has been broken, if Taliban have the level of influence as they say then TTP would never have formed. I call BS.

I really do hope ISI have a plan to manage this as post withdrawl blowback is coming. Kabul will fall and then anything can happen.

By allowing afghan refugees in and not dealing with NWFP properly, as in making it a proper part of the state from the get go, say in the 70s you have pretty much allowed a state within a state to form. How are you going to fix this? Why was this allowed in the first place? To busy finding parts to build the bomb? Or becoming too comfortable with old agreements? You do not have the liberty to enjoy your land unless you fully conquer it, that was the deal otherwise go back to India.

If you think narco terrorists are going to bring you peace on your border, good luck :lol:

TTP was never a taliban creation. Hakimullah mehsud was released by USA just for this purpose.
All we need from anyone in Afghanistan is to not allow its land to be used against Pakistan. The reason TTP remnants still exist today is because USA/Afghanistan delibrately withdrew its forces from border and allowed TTP shelter when they were cornered in Pakistan after successful ops. That is what i am saying every major ops is temporary unless they are denied sanctuaries in Afghanistan.
ISKP a proxy of CIA and NDS is just an offshoot of TTP will give you an idea of forces behind TTP.

The crux of my argument is. Its either current setup or Taliban. Who would you prefer to deal with, we have tried everyrhing for the past 20yrs to deal with current indian lobby but to no avail, i stead as expected they left no stone unturned to wage a war in Pakistan.

If Iran and Russia can develop an understanding with Taliban why cant we?
They are a natural force unlike ttp or ISKP and we have to except that fact.
